“Joining BEFIT was the best thing I have ever done for myself.I decided to join after almost 2 years of being RELENTLESSLY asked by my friend to go with her, “you’ll love it & it’s amazing” she would tell me over and over. In Oct 2017 I finally gave in, I joined just in time for the 12 week challenge. Again, the best thing I have ever done for myself and she’s right, I do love it and it’s amazing.

The trainers are supportive and extremely helpful. You don’t have to think about what to do, it’s all planned out for you, you just have to show up and put in the effort, which is my favorite part. I’ve been to other gyms, but didn’t really know what to do, so I was not getting the results I wanted.

The amount of energy I have is insane, the strength I’ve gained in the last 12 weeks is amazing and the weight loss that I’m experiencing is more than I ever expected. I have lost 17% of my body weight and feel so good. I can’t wait to see what changes I will experience in the months to come.

“I joined BEFIT in January 2016 and can say it was one of the best decisions of my life. At the time I was looking for an alternative to just going through the motions at the gym. I found that when I went to a local gym, I lacked motivation to really push myself. Additionally, I just found it boring. My first class at BEFIT had me hooked. I can remember feeling a sense of exhaustion and inspiration that I didn’t get anywhere else. Alicia was one of the regular trainers at my time slot and I was so blown away with her support and encouragement. The staff have a way of really making the experience personal and motivating and make an effort to acknowledge your improvements. My first week I can remember not being able to do one push up and now almost two years later, I am able to do chin ups, pull, ups and resisted push-ups.What I like about BEFIT is its strong emphasis on making BEFIT a lifestyle. It’s not just about working out a few times a week, but also changing your mentality. Food was a huge factor for me and Josh did a great job at educating me on what “healthy eating” really entails. I learnt you can never eat enough protein, carbs are literally everywhere and bagels are never a good idea… This knowledge has completely changed my outlook on nutrition and really boosted my results.

BEFIT is not just a gym but a family. I have been fortunate enough to make some great friendships and encouragers along the way. The 6:30PM class has been great motivation and it is those people who get me up and going on the days I just don’t want to go. Shout out to my gym partner and #1 cheerleader John for keeping my nutrition in line! “Joining BEFIT last October was the best decision regarding my health that I have ever made, hands down. I have been overweight my entire life. I have struggled with food for as long as I can remember. My version of exercise was walking and doing a half ass job of a workout DVD in my basement.

This isn’t a fad, or a quick fix. This is my new lifestyle. Working out is now one of my priorities. Making time for me to better myself and my health is important; it’s important for me, my husband and my children. Since I joined last October I am proud to say I have lost over 110lbs. However, I am even more proud of seeing what my body is capable of. It’s very rewarding seeing myself getting physically stronger and doing things I never thought I would be able to do.

Josh, Karen, Alicia, Laurie and the other trainers are amazing. I can’t say enough good things about these people! I can not even put into words how much they have helped me over the past 7 months. “I started at BEFIT in January of 2015. I had recently had a baby and was ready but nervous to get back into an exercise routine. I emailed Karen back and forth for way too long before I finally built up the courage to try it out. Before the end of the first workout I was hooked!
