Here’s 7 Questions so you can get to know her better…

1. What do you like doing in your spare time?

I love to exercise, read the latest news, volunteer weekly as one of the pet therapy teams at a nursing home, enjoy my circus arts hobby, and most importantly, spend time with my family and friends.

2. What got you into personal training?

I got into personal training because I felt the benefits from exercising regularly and learning to live a healthy lifestyle from dance, acro, and cheer. I want others to feel the enjoyment I did by continuing to help others be the best
version they can be.

3. What advice would you give to someone just starting out on their fitness journey?

My best advice for someone starting out on their fitness journey is to find an activity you enjoy and begin with a schedule you can commit to regularly. Set realistic goals and pace yourself.

4. What are you currently working on to get better at right now? Could be education, personal development, fitness, nutrition, etc.

I am currently working on flying out of lines on the flying trapeze and climbing the ladder without a supported line system. I am scared of heights and the thought of my body weight climbing up the ladder, controlling my take off with one hand, the swing and my landing (on your back) without any safety lines scares me. It’s the first step I have to overcome before I can explore different tricks and catching (transferring from the bar to a person on the other side).

5. What exercise do you enjoy the most?

I thoroughly enjoy seeing what the body can do. But, I find basic calisthenics using our own body weight to be fun – ie/ dips, plank, and push-ups to name a few.

6. What is your biggest weakness?

The inverted hip thrust! It’s a love-hate relationship.

7. Favourite motivational quote?

“If it’s important to you, you will find a way. If not, you will find an excuse.”
– Ryan Blair

Rachelle will be joining the schedule in September. Feel free to say hi and introduce yourself to help her feel more welcome.
