1. What do you like doing in your spare time?

I love to play most sports. I’m huge into lacrosse and soccer. I also love to play disc golf. I watch a lot of movies as well as riding my motorcycle.

2. What got you into personal training?

I got into personal training because I wanted to learn how to work out properly for myself. I then wanted to be able to teach people how to do it properly and help people get to their fitness goals.

3. What advice would you give to someone just starting out on their fitness journey?

Don’t give up when it gets hard or you can’t do something. We all start at different places and with hard work and determination you will get to where you want. Also don’t worry about other people, focus on you.

4. What are you currently working on to get better at right now? This could be anything from education, personal development, fitness, nutrition…

I’m focusing on my mobility this year. After years of injuries and with getting older it’s important to me to be able to keep moving. I think with increased mobility we can do more in and out of the gym.

5. What’s your favourite exercise?

I actually have 3. I love doing deadlifts, tricep extensions and gate swings.

6. What is your biggest weakness?

My biggest weakness would have to be mobility. Years of injuries, scare tissue and and general tightness have put what I can do behind the 8 ball. I want to be able to do more, and that’s why it’s something I’m focusing on.

7. Favorite motivational quote?

I have 2:
“I am what I am and that’s what I am”
-Popeye

AND…

“This is the moment, tonight is the night, we’ll fight ’til it’s over”
– Macklemore
