Here is an example of what I eat in a typical day. Since I have a few injuries right now, and unable to workout, I have limited my calories and eating clean. By doing this, I am ensuring that sitting on the couch all day doesn’t make me gain bodyfat. This is my 6th week of being inactive, which will make you lose muscle, and muscle loss is the single biggest detriment to your metabolism, so if you can, keep moving!

Breakfast: Fiber 1 snack bar, 2 eggs on 100% whole wheat bread, 2 cups green tea
Snack: Protein shake made with vanilla protein powder, skim milk, frozen blueberries, frozen strawberries. Omega 3 supplement and multivitamin.
Lunch: Steak with caesar salad, 2 glasses of chocolate milk
Snack: 5 carrots, 1 kiwi, 1 activia yogurt, glass of water
Dinner: Ground turkey with whole wheat pasta (marinara sauce), glass of chocolate milk
Snack: Ground turkey with whole wheat pasta, glass of water X 2
Snack: Glass of water
